Barakdeal ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Barakdeal Customer App, Barakdeal Store (Vendor) App, and Barakdeal Delivery Man App (collectively referred to as the "Services"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Apps.
By using our Apps, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Personal Info: Name, Email, Phone Number, Delivery Address.
Transaction Data: Order history and payment details.
Business Details: Store Name, Address, Licenses.
Financial Info: Bank Account details for payouts.
Device Permissions: We collect device status to ensure the app remains active to receive orders.
Identity & Vehicle Info: Name, Driving License, Vehicle Registration, and Government ID for background verification.
Financial Info: Bank details for earnings.
Our Apps require access to location data for specific core functions:
Customer App: Collects Approximate and Precise Location (Foreground only) to show nearby stores and facilitate delivery address selection.
Vendor App: Uses location to verify the store's operating region.
Delivery Man App (Critical Disclosure):
Data Collected: Precise Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION) and Background Location (ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION).
Purpose: This data is used to enable "Nearby Order Allocation" (assigning orders to the closest driver) and "Live Order Tracking" (allowing customers to see the driver's position).
Usage Disclosure: "The Barakdeal Delivery Man app collects location data to enable order assignment and live tracking even when the app is closed or not in use."
To ensure reliable operation, our Delivery Man App and Vendor App use specific Android permissions:
Foreground Services (FOREGROUND_SERVICE):
Remote Messaging (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_REMOTE_MESSAGING):
Usage: Used to maintain an active connection with the server to receive instant "New Order" alerts and messages. This triggers a continuous ringtone/vibration to ensure drivers and vendors do not miss time-sensitive orders while the phone is locked.
Data Sync (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC):
Usage: Used to synchronize real-time location and order status with the server. This ensures the dispatch system always has the driver's latest location for accurate order assignment.
Battery Optimization (REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS):
Usage: We request permission to ignore battery optimizations to prevent the operating system from putting the app to sleep. This is strictly necessary to ensure real-time order reception and uninterrupted location tracking during a delivery trip.
We use third-party services that may collect information:
Google Maps SDK: For navigation and location tracking.
Firebase (FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics): For push notifications and app stability.
Payment Gateways: For secure transaction processing.
Order Fulfillment: Sharing location and contact details between Customer, Vendor, and Driver to complete the delivery.
Safety: Verifying Driver identity and tracking trips to ensure Customer safety.
Notifications: Sending status updates and OTPs.
With Customers: The Delivery Man's name, photo, and Live Location are shared with the Customer during an active order.
With Vendors: Driver details are shared for order handover.
Legal: We may disclose data if required by law.
We use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, including encryption for sensitive financial information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
You have the right to request account deletion:
In-App: Settings > Delete Account.
